Yo this place is expensive but wow. So fresh . For the first time I was able to make the freshest sea food in my home. This totally kicks the butt if any grocery store. I bought shrimp , lobster, and bread. I will say just for the sake of complaining that their veggie section was sus but I did shop at a sea food place around Easter so they were at there very last bits on that side of it. But omg the freshest seafood other than hitting up an Asian market.
An amazing selection of fish and seafood. Their new location is larger and better land out. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. Prices are comparable with and high end location.
So excited the cafe is open! The grilled fish tacos were the best I've ever had, perfectly tender inside and seasoned, fresh corn tortillas, slaw, and sauce. They have a beautiful patio and really friendly staff to boot. I can't wait to spend the summer here.
Going to Coastal is my happy place. I'm there pretty much every Friday to take advantage of the educator discount. The people there are so nice and knowledgeable the fish is amazing and the value is great
The service was great and fast. We absolutely loved the Connecticut lobster roll, it was super flavorful. We will be back for more. The Nashville hot soft shell crab basket wasn't our favorite. There was no lack of Nashville style deel fry but the flavor left more to be desired. We did however enjoy the homemade ketchup and the coleslaw. We are excited to come back and try some more dishes.
Wanted to treat myself for my birthday tomorrow with some fancy caviar and have seen y’all on TikTok too! Very friendly staff and some of yall I think are queer which makes for a really welcoming and safe environment. Had some food as well and it was very good. Coleslaw was bomb dot com.
Great lobster rolls! The market is in the front and the cafe is in the back. I had a lobster roll and I loved the size - not too big, but densely packed with fresh, moist lobster. Service was so friendly, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. There's takeout but not alcohol yet - that's coming as soon as their license is set. Cute looking patio too! Also note that I did not see an entrance without steps, the front entrance has two steps up to enter.
Best seafood grocer in town. My favorite thing about Coastal is that you can trust the staff’s expertise. They will select only the best oysters, filet your fish the way you want it, and will guide you in recipes, preparation, or inspiration when you need it.
